Salix Finance has confirmed that interest-free financing is still available for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in England.

The funding is available for over 100 energy-efficiency technologies including Climateq's air conditioning and lighting controls. Salix can provide support for programmes of work spanning multiple years. Since launching the programme in 2006, Salix has worked with almost 100 HEIs to support over 4,000 projects which are estimated to save £35 million and around 130,000 tonnes of carbon every year.
